• You should stop drinking alcohol for 10 days before the hair transplant surgery;

• It is recommended not to smoke for 3 days before the operation;

• You should stop using blood thinners for 1 month before surgery;

• There is no need to cut the hair when going to the hair transplant operation, because at this time there may be a loss of boundaries in the area where the hair transplant will take place, which will complicate the surgical procedure. It is best to leave the hair cutting to the staff of doctors and assistants;

• On the day of the operation, it is recommended to wear shirt-style clothes that open in the front so that your hair follicles and hairs are not damaged when you put them on and undress.

After the hair transplant operation, it is recommended that you follow the following procedures:

• You should sleep on your back for 7-10 days;

• It would be good to use pillows that keep the neck stable when we sleep, so that turning without depending on us is prevented and, as a result, the hair transplant zone is not damaged;

• When standing or sitting, the head must always be upright and properly maintained;

• It is not recommended to drink alcoholic, energetic and carbonated drinks and smoke for 10 days;

• Anti-infective medications prescribed by your doctor should be used within 5 days after hair transplant surgery;

• In the days after the operation, if there are aching pains in the donor area, pain relievers can be used. But care should be taken that these painkillers are used after meals;

• For 2 months after the operation, patients are prohibited from all kinds of activities that will cause intense sweating, including sports, sauna use, sunbathing, etc. includes;

• It is not permissible to cut the hairs in the hair transplant area with a machine for 6 months. If necessary, the ends of the hairs can be cut with scissors;

• With the recommendation of your doctor, special dermatological shampoos should be used for 1 year;

• Finally, for 2 months after the hair transplant operation, only warm water should be used for washing.
